Who are Nan and Pop?
Nan and Pop were kind, quiet people who owned a convenience store on the famous Wildwood boardwalk. They raised their children in North Wildwood and later went on to have grandchildren raised in the Wildwoods, too! Jasen, one of their grandchildren, owns and operates Nan and Pop’s Kitchen with his wife, Christy, and children, Gianna, Aiden, and Jackson, in their memory.
Pop would work long hours at his business and come home to Nan for a delicious home cooked meal. Pop LOVED being outside. Hunting, fishing, boating… he enjoyed it all! He also enjoyed feeding the ducks with his grandchildren and had bird feeders outside of the windows at home.
Anytime you'd go to Nan and Pop’s house, Nan would be sitting in the living room, sewing in her chair. Jasen and Nan would make gifts together to give to his teachers and the family. Nan loved to make meatloaf and mashed potatoes, one of Pop’s favorites!
All of our dishes are hand cooked and use recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. Our menu features some of Nan and Pop’s favorite dishes like our Buttermilk Pancakes, Chicken and Waffles, and many other dishes that will give you that home cooked feeling.
“Nan and Pop’s is the name of the restaurant because of the family that they raised in town. The restaurant holds the warmth of going to any grandparents home”. – Jasen.
Nan and Pop’s Kitchen is located at 401 E. Wildwood Avenue, directly off of the Wildwood Boardwalk. We’re open everyday from 8AM-9PM, closed on Sundays. Come and enjoy a delicious meal with the entire family!
